Village of Stones

acrylic on canvas (2000)

56" X 42"

Inspired by a miniture illuminated illustration.  Stone archetecture, with more "Stones" in the boat. Angels come down and the population of the village gathers.

Change Machine

acrylic on Canvas (1999)

44" X 38"

Inspired by George Carlin's quote ...

"I put a dollar in a a change machine ... nothing changed."

Triptich on one canvas depicts events that haven't changed with the passage of time: public execution and the apathy, even delight, of the onlookers; war, murder, suicide; and the division between the feasting and the hungry.
